Like to sketch?  How about a free online tool that allows you to sketch with pressure sensitivity?  Steve Mason has created a online sketching program with a simple interface and nice feeling tools make quite an enjoyable experience.  When you are done sketching it saves your art, into the collective creative whole, and allows you to see what others are sketching.  Check it out at http://www.smason.com/flash/sketch/Shell.swf.  The idea if incorporating this type of concept into any web based meeting could allow for all sorts of visual brainstorming.

214!  As I write this our little traffic meter shows that over 200 people have visited the site on the first day.  Not quite Yahoo or Google traffic numbers but quite respectable when given the numbers of designers in our area.  214 means more people than every registered Carolina IDSA member.  So...I hope that some of you have found this new site, site content and new format useful.  It was built to aid you as a designer.  If you think it's cool please let us know.  If it still sucks ...well let us know that too.  We're designers right?  We can take it.    We have opened the doors for public criticism.  Who else does that on their design site? 

It was good to see everyone that attended this years southern district conference.  With the event a several weeks behind us now is a great time to discuss our thoughts on what transpired there.  So...What rocked and what could be improved upon next year?  Did you get your fill or leave hungry?  Let us know and well make sure to pass your comments on to national for you.
